On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Site Reliability Engineer for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Site Reliability Engineer x 2 - Job Description:

The project involves supporting new vendor software, specifically QRM, with a focus on infrastructure engineering. The role requires deploying, managing, and operating complex applications in a Cloud environment, particularly Azure, as part of a critical and complex environment.

Site Reliability Engineer x 2 - Responsibilities:

• Deploy, manage, and operate complex applications in a Cloud environment

• Contribute within a complex and critical environment

• Address and resolve highly complex and multifaceted development-related issues independently

• Troubleshoot infrastructure, services, and application monitoring and logging

• Configure and manage big data technologies and databases

Site Reliability Engineer x 2 - Mandatory Skills:

• Windows administration and PowerShell experience

• Database experience, maintaining and managing MS SQL databases (SSRS/SSIS)

• Cloud experience with Azure Services including IaaS, IaC

• Configuration management tools such as SALT, Terraform, Ansible, or CHEF

• Development/Engineering experience with PowerShell, Bash, Shell, Python

• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, Nexus, or similar toolsets

Site Reliability Engineer x 2 – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• QRM implementation experience

Site Reliability Engineer x 2 – Assignment Length:

This is a 1-year contract position with the possibility of extension and conversion.
