Site Reliability Engineer/Operations Lead

About the Role

• Maximus is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) & Operations Lead to serve as the primary onsite technical lead supporting Maximus operations at the Department of Energy (DOE).
• This role ensures stability, performance, and continuous improvement across production systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• The SRE & Operations Lead partners closely with engineering teams, project leads, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, manage deployments, monitor system health, and maintain reliable operating environments.

Requirements

• This position requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to communicate clearly across technical and nontechnical audiences.

Location & Work Schedule

• This role is onsite, five days a week in Washington, DC.

Security Clearance

• Requires a Top Secret or DOE-Q security clearance.
