Reporting to the Executive Director of Admissions the Slate Business Systems Analyst (Data Analytics & Systems Support) serves as the primary analytics and reporting expert for Graduate Studies and provides designated operational backup support and project coordination for the Slate platform.
This position leads admissions and enrollment reporting, dashboard development, and data governance activities while maintaining cross-functional system knowledge to ensure operational continuity and system sustainability.
This position does not serve as the primary owner of Slate system configuration but maintains cross-training and project coordination responsibilities to support continuity of operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required and/or equivalent experience/training.
- 3-5 years professional work experience in either higher education or data management systems.
- Experience with student information systems, campus system integrations, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and/or equivalent experience/training.
- Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
- Excellent ability to plan, organize, manage, and coordinate multiple projects and teams with varied and often competing deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, written communication skills, and the ability to speak comfortably to large audiences for education and training purposes.
- Familiarity with issues affecting student services, enrollment management, prospect management, admissions processes, fellowships, and higher education in general.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in systems analysis, student personnel, higher education, or related field from an accredited college or university.
- Prior experience operating and/or programming the Technolutions Slate platform.
- Experience with the day-to-day operations of an admissions or fellowships office with an understanding of student information from a "systems" approach, of the graduate recruitment process, of communication campaign workflow design, and decentralized admissions processes.
- Strong technical background with demonstrated skills in system development/support and workflow analysis.
- Some basic programming (HTML, CSS, SQL, etc.) skills also a benefit.
- Strong leadership skills, including building strong rapport with and support for staff and faculty and ability to coordinate workload in support of multiple and competing strategic priorities.

Work Environment
