Job Summary

The Account Executive drives revenue by managing client accounts, building relationships, and networking within an assigned territory to close deals. Acts as the primary contact and face of Optimum brand ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through research, networking, and outreach; qualify leads and schedule meetings or demos; work assigned leads and turf.
  • Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Present products and services using a consultative approach; negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals.
  • Account Management: Maintain strong client relationships; upsell or cross-sell additional products/services; follow orders to completion including held orders, construction, and changes.
  • Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage CRM tools to track opportunities and progress; provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Operations, Customer Success, Retention, Account Managers, and Regional Sales Managers; deliver seamless onboarding and post-sale satisfaction.
  • Market & Product Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings; develop deep understanding of company products and services.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 2-4 years of college preferred.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of field-sales experience to Small/Medium Businesses.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Proficient computer and technical skills.
  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, car insurance, and satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work full time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales-centric mindset with passion for achieving sales targets.
  • Extensive product knowledge of mobile and fixed-line products and services.
  • Digital proficiency with CRM, POS systems, and other software.

  • Starting pay range: $50,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year.
