In this role, you'll work on Grid Technology systems and applications, providing critical technical support to teams and evaluating new project opportunities. Collaborate on developing strategic direction and contribute to Hydro Ottawa’s smart grid roadmap. Engage with data analytics to optimize grid performance and extend the life of distribution assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions to enhance Grid Technology systems
• Support distribution staff and provide technical assistance
• Manage and evaluate new Grid Technology projects
• Create business processes for customer departments
• Collaborate with technology teams to enhance systems

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering required
• Licensed or eligible for licensing as a Professional Engineer in Ontario
• Proficient in office productivity tools; G Suite preferred
• Experience in electric utility engineering advantageous
• Knowledge of SCADA or advanced grid applications is an asset
