About the role
Position Overview
The SME Task Order Management / Project Manager serves as the dedicated Project Manager for the task order and acts as the primary liaison between FRTIB and the contractor. This role is responsible for communication, coordination, oversight, and day-to-day management of task order activities. In addition to overall management, the role supports preparation and coordination of presentation and briefing materials used for leadership updates, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between FRTIB and the contractor.
- Provide day-to-day oversight, coordination, and management of task order activities.
- Create new PowerPoint presentations using government-provided content, data, and guidance.
- Edit and format presentations for clarity, accuracy, branding consistency, and executive use.
- Incorporate charts, tables, graphics, and other visual elements into briefing materials.
- Ensure presentation materials comply with government templates, formatting rules, and Section 508/alt-text requirements.
- Coordinate with government staff to gather content, validate information, and obtain approvals.
- Maintain version control and deliver source and final files in approved formats.
- Prepare supporting materials such as speaker notes, handouts, meeting materials, and briefing packets.
- Attend meetings to collect information for presentation development.
- Participate in kickoff within 10 days of award.
- Submit monthly status reports and support interchange meetings, formal briefings, and schedule/cost/performance updates.
- Support QCP implementation and management oversight activities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant experience managing task orders, projects, or contracts in a federal support environment.
- Demonstrated experience serving as a liaison with government stakeholders.
- Experience managing schedules, status reporting, coordination, and deliverable tracking.
- Experience developing executive briefings, presentation materials, and related documentation.
- Familiarity with Section 508 formatting/accessibility requirements is strongly relevant.
