SOC Security Analyst:in (m/w/d)

Role

In this role, you will shape an independent and flexible area of responsibility around information security and actively contribute to sustainably strengthening security standards. You will be responsible for the continuous development of your expertise and specifically implement new findings in practice. You will work in close exchange with a dedicated team and contribute your expertise to joint decisions. You will use a modern, digital work infrastructure to assess risks soundly and derive effective measures. In this way, you will make a measurable contribution as an information security specialist to the stability and trustworthiness of information systems.

Responsibilities

• Investigation of security incidents on customer systems, including initial triage and relevance assessment
• Active threat hunting to identify hidden risks and potential attacks in the system environment
• Analysis of complex incidents and implementation of suitable incident response measures
• Communication with customers regarding security incidents and professional escalation of critical incidents
• Participation in change management and continuous contribution to the further development of services

Qualifications

• Completed degree or training in computer science and several years of experience (3-5 years) in the Security Operations environment
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR, and network security tools, as well as practical experience in monitoring IT security environments
• Experience in managed service structures and interest in new developments in the field of Cyber Security
• Very good German and English skills, written and spoken, combined with team spirit and commitment
