Our client, a forward-thinking social enterprise focused on sustainable development and community upliftment, is looking for a dedicated and innovative Social Enterprise Program Manager. This role is crucial for the successful design, implementation, and management of programs aimed at achieving social impact while ensuring financial sustainability. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and accessibility to talent nationwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, a passion for social innovation, and experience in developing business models that align with social missions.
Key Responsibilities: Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of social enterprise programs. Develop business plans and operational strategies for social enterprise initiatives, focusing on both social impact and financial viability. Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines effectively. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including community partners, beneficiaries, funders, and advisory boards. Oversee program monitoring and evaluation, collecting data to assess impact and identify areas for improvement. Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants and social impact investments. Develop and manage strategic partnerships to enhance program reach and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and reporting requirements. Recruit, train, and manage program staff and volunteers as needed. Stay abreast of trends and best practices in social entrepreneurship and impact investing. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field. A Master's degree is an asset. Proven experience in program management, preferably within a social enterprise or non-profit setting. Demonstrated understanding of social enterprise models, business development, and impact measurement. Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial planning. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software. A genuine passion for social impact and sustainable development. This is a remote position supporting initiatives in and around Kimberley, Northern Cape, ZA , and beyond.
