About the role
Micasa Furniture are seeking a creative and motivated On-Site Social Media Manager to manage our brand’s online presence. The successful candidate will create engaging content, capture on-site media, interact with customers online, and help grow our social media platforms through strategic marketing and trend-driven content creation.
An On-Site Social Media Manager is responsible for creating, managing, and growing a company’s online presence through social media platforms while working directly from the business location. This role combines content creation, marketing, customer engagement, and brand management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily social media activities across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter
- Create and schedule engaging content including posts, stories, reels, videos, and captions
- Capture on-site photos and videos of products, services, staff, events, or behind-the-scenes content
- Respond to comments, messages, reviews, and customer inquiries professionally
- Monitor social media trends, hashtags, and competitor activity
- Develop and execute content calendars and marketing campaigns
- Track analytics and prepare performance reports
- Work closely with management, sales teams, and designers to align branding and promotions
- Assist with influencer collaborations and paid advertising campaigns
- Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms
Requirements & Skills
- Previous experience in social media management, digital marketing, or content creation
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms and current trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic photography and videography skills
- Experience with editing apps/software such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to create engaging captions and marketing content
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of analytics tools and social media insights
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
- Experience running paid ads on platforms like Meta and TikTok
- Portfolio of previous social media work or campaigns
- Customer service experience
Work Environment
- Full-time or part-time on-site role
- May require flexible hours during events, launches, or campaigns

Pay
R6 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate
- Clairwood, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
