Through campaigns, strategy, and education under SounDisruptr University, we work at the intersection of music, marketing, culture, and digital growth.

Our founder, Kevin Eze (Xclusive Pikin) on Instagram, sits at the centre of music, business, culture, and storytelling. This role exists to translate that positioning into a clear, authoritative, and scalable content system.

The Role (Read Carefully)

This is not a posting role. This is not a scheduler role. This is not a "copywriter only" role.

We are hiring a Social Media Manager & Content Strategist who will own content thinking end-to-end.

You will decide:

  • What content we produce
  • Why it exists
  • How it compounds authority, trust, and revenue
  • How different pillars (music, marketing, culture, food, lifestyle) are used strategically

You are expected to think like a strategist, plan like a media lead, and execute with discipline.

Kevin will not micromanage content ideas.

You will be trusted to design the strategy and defend it with results.

Strategic Mandate (Non-Negotiables)

  • SounDisruptr remains music-first
  • Kevin's brand must reinforce authority, clarity, and leadership
  • Food, culture, and lifestyle content must:
    • Strengthen credibility, or
    • Humanise the brand, or
    • Signal ecosystem depth
  • No content is created "just for vibes." Every content pillar must serve reach, trust, or revenue

Within these guardrails, you decide the mix.

Core Responsibilities

1. Content Strategy & Planning (Ownership Role)

  • Design the full content strategy across:
    • Instagram
    • TikTok
    • X (Twitter)
    • LinkedIn
    • YouTube
  • Define content pillars, formats, and posting logic
  • Create monthly content plans with clear objectives
  • Decide what to scale, pause, or kill based on performance
  • Present strategy logic and improvements monthly

2. Content Creation & Direction

  • Write and structure content ideas, hooks, and angles
  • Script educational, storytelling, and authority-building videos
  • Write captions, threads, and long-form posts where needed
  • Guide visual execution with designers/editors (you don't have to design, but you must direct)
  • Repurpose long-form content into short-form systems

3. Founder Brand Positioning (Kevin Eze)

  • Strategically position Kevin as a leading voice in:
    • Music marketing (primary)
    • Business & growth
    • Culture and ecosystem thinking
  • Script YouTube videos, Reels, TikToks, and thought-leadership posts
  • Translate Kevin's ideas into structured, high-impact
  • Maintain tone consistency across platforms

4. Performance Tracking & Iteration

  • Track content performance weekly
  • Analyse what drives:
    • Reach
    • Engagement quality
    • Saves, shares, comments
    • Inbound DMs and interest
  • Adjust strategy monthly based on data
  • Submit clear reports using Google Sheets / Google Drive

Who We're Looking For

You must have:

  • Proven experience managing social media strategically, not just operationally
  • Strong storytelling and content structuring skills
  • Deep understanding of the Nigerian and global music industry
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas into relatable content
  • Confidence to make decisions and defend them with logic
  • Strong research instincts
  • High ownership mindset (you don't wait to be told what to do)

Bonus (not mandatory):

  • Experience writing video scripts
  • Experience working with founders or personal brands
  • Understanding of food, culture, or creative ecosystems (used strategically, not randomly)
