As a Social Media Specialist, you are a passionate expert in social media, content, and digital culture, responsible for defining and executing Laurastar’s global social media strategy across all platforms. You will work closely with the Global Communications Manager to drive the development of engaging, platform‑specific content, manage the social media calendar, and ensure the performance and growth of Laurastar’s social media presence worldwide. The position also includes performance analysis, social listening, and paid amplification strategies using Sprout Social, among other tools.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement Laurastar’s global social media strategy and platform‑specific content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
- Build, manage, and maintain the global social media calendar.
- Prepare creative briefs for the Content Creator, including insights, audience cohorts, concepts, intentions, and scripts to drive relevancy.
- Supervise and guide the Content Creator in the production of social media content.
- Monitor and analyse social media performance using Sprout Social and native tools to identify what drives reach, attention, and engagement, and inform future content decisions.
- Define and execute boost strategies and develop paid creatives based on top‑performing organic content to maximise reach and engagement among key audiences.
- Identify trends and opportunities across social platforms, creators, and culture, supported by social listening, to reinforce Laurastar’s social media leadership.
- Stay ahead of social and content trends and apply a strategic mindset to use social platforms as a source of content and market insights.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in social media management for a brand or agency, with proven experience managing multiple social media platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in social media performance analysis and management tools such as Sprout Social.
- Solid understanding of paid social amplification strategies.
- Fluency in French and English with strong verbal and written communication skills; German is a plus.
- Deep passion for social media, with a strong understanding of what resonates with audiences and builds a premium brand.
- Strong sensitivity to fashion, design, home, and lifestyle, aligned with Laurastar’s premium brand universe.
