About the role
Position Overview
We are seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Social Media Marketing Manager to grow and manage the online presence of a music performer and public speaker. This role is responsible for building brand awareness, increasing audience engagement, promoting events and content, and helping expand the artist/speaker’s digital reach across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate understands both entertainment and personal branding, stays current with social media trends, and knows how to create content that connects with audiences authentically.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter)
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content, including videos, reels, graphics, stories, and promotional posts
- Capture and edit behind-the-scenes content from performances, speaking engagements, rehearsals, travel, and events
- Manage content calendars and coordinate promotional campaigns for performances, speaking engagements, launches, and partnerships
- Grow audience engagement and follower base organically
- Monitor trends, hashtags, and platform updates to maximize reach and visibility
- Respond to comments, messages, and audience interactions in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate on branding, messaging, and audience growth strategies
- Track analytics and provide regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement
- Assist with email marketing, website updates, and digital promotions as needed
- Coordinate paid advertising campaigns when applicable
Qualifications
- Experience managing social media accounts for artists, influencers, speakers, entertainers, or brands
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and audience engagement strategies
- Experience with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, or similar platforms
- Excellent written communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment

- Basic website and email marketing knowledge
