Before is an award-winning oral care brand reimagining daily rituals through thoughtful design, clean formulations, and sustainable materials. We're looking for a fractional Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to join our small, creative team and take ownership of our social presence and marketing coordination as we continue to grow.

This is an ideal role for someone who is deeply fluent in social media, loves storytelling, and thrives in a brand environment that values thoughtful design and wellness.

Role Details

  • Contract: Ongoing fractional engagement
  • Hours: ~12 hours per week
  • Location: Remote

What You'll Do

Social Media & Community

Social media is at the heart of Before's brand storytelling. You'll own our presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, and LinkedIn — bringing our brand voice and visual identity to life through consistent, engaging content.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and scheduling social content across platforms
  • Creating graphics, stories, reels, and short-form videos
  • Writing captions and educational content
  • Engaging with our community, creators, and partners
  • Monitoring DMs and social mentions
  • Tracking insights and delivering a monthly performance report across all channels

You'll also help produce recurring content series including educational content on ingredients, oral health, and sustainability, retail features, and lifestyle storytelling inspired by travel, nature, and design.

Marketing Coordination

You'll support the team in keeping campaigns and initiatives moving forward across influencer, email, and brand partner lanes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating influencer outreach and product seeding
  • Helping manage timelines for campaigns, giveaways, and retail launches
  • Preparing and scheduling weekly email campaigns through Klaviyo
  • Supporting asset coordination for product launches and seasonal campaigns
  • Keeping the marketing calendar organized and up to date
  • Preparing a marketing report summarizing campaign performance, email metrics, and key wins and opportunities across channels

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years experience in social media, marketing, or content creation
  • Strong instincts for social content — you understand what performs and why
  • Excellent writing and copywriting skills with a natural brand voice
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple moving pieces
  • Basic design skills and experience with Adobe
  • Experience with Klaviyo, Later, and Shopify
  • Comfortable working independently in a small, remote team environment
