Part-Time Social Media Manager / Content Creator

Malin’s Deli is a beloved local deli in Newark, known for our fresh, high-quality sandwiches, friendly service, and community vibes. We’re looking for a creative, food-loving Social Media Manager to help us build a stronger online presence and bring more customers through our doors.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and schedule monthly scroll-stopping content (posts, Stories, Reels) for Instagram and Facebook
• Showcase our delicious menu, specials, behind-the-scenes moments, and the people who make Malin’s special
• Develop fun campaigns and promotions to boost brand awareness and drive foot traffic
• Take eye-catching photos and videos in the deli
• Track performance metrics and suggest new ideas to grow our engagement and following
• Help us tell authentic stories that make people crave our sandwiches

Photography and video skills are a big plus!

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience managing social media accounts (personal or professional counts)
• Strong writing skills with a natural, friendly, and approachable tone
• Basic photo and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
• A genuine passion for food and local community
• Reliable, organized, consistent, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

This is a perfect role for someone creative who loves food, enjoys being behind the camera, and wants flexible part-time work with a fun local business.
