Position Overview
We are seeking a Social Marketing Specialist to work on-site in King of Prussia, PA. This role will support both brand-led and local programming initiatives to elevate our social presence. The position offers a Competitive Rate: $40/hr (W2), with a full-time schedule of Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week, for a 12-month contract (with probable extension/conversion). The target start date is January/February.
Key Responsibilities • Partner with the Marketing Manager to implement the broader Live Experience vision and marketing goals. • Craft ongoing competitive social analysis to understand the experiential landscape and identify opportunities and unique selling points on social. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Paid Social, Growth Marketing, Comms, and Brand Creative) for creative development and distribution beyond organic social. • Support key milestones and coordinate with stakeholders for strategic alignment and creative input. • Perform ongoing reporting, analysis, and fan social listening, sharing recaps and actionable recommendations with broader teams. • Oversee local-specific social creative and tone of voice to ensure market accuracy and relevancy. • Partner with Ops and Local Marketing Specialists to support on-site always-on programming, activations, and events. • Attend and cover community days, soft openings, always-on programming, events, and tentpole activations. • Capture, edit, and produce visually compelling, narrative-driven social content for fast turnarounds. • Serve as the on-the-ground point of contact for local creators and VIPs, embedding into local partnership and community workflows.
Required Qualifications • 5+ years of hands-on social media experience, ideally in entertainment, events, theme parks or lifestyle brands. • Strong visual sensibility and experience with photo/video capture and editing using a phone or camera. • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. • Excellent written communication skills and a knack for engaging online communities.
