Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Program Manager to lead and oversee vital community initiatives, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is central to driving positive social impact by managing program development, implementation, and evaluation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of social dynamics, and a proven ability to manage complex projects from conception to completion, fostering collaboration and achieving measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage social programs aligned with organizational goals and community needs. Oversee program budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and responsible utilization of resources. Build and maintain strong partnerships with community stakeholders, NGOs, and government agencies. Lead and mentor program staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Develop and execute program outreach and communication strategies to maximize engagement and impact. Monitor program progress, collect data, and conduct evaluations to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and financial status for senior management and funders. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, ethical standards, and funding requirements. Identify funding opportunities and contribute to grant writing and proposal development. Manage program risks and develop contingency plans. Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and community forums related to program objectives. Advocate for the needs of the program beneficiaries and ensure their voices are heard. Stay informed about current trends, research, and best practices in social development and program management. Utilize project management tools and methodologies to ensure timely and successful program delivery. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the program team. Qualifications: Master's degree in Social Work, Public Policy, Development Studies, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 6 years of experience in social program management, community development, or non-profit leadership. Proven experience in program design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E). Strong understanding of social issues, community needs, and participatory development approaches. Excellent leadership, team management, and motivational skills. Demonstrated ability in budget management and financial oversight. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership building. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and proactively in a fully remote setting. Experience in grant writing and fundraising is a significant advantage. Knowledge of data collection and analysis techniques. Commitment to social justice and community empowerment. This is a 100% remote position. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, highly organized, and capable of leading impactful social initiatives from a distance, contributing to positive change within communities such as those around Ibadan, Oyo, NG , and beyond.
