Your Mission

• You conceptualize, develop, and are responsible for complex cloud-native and AI-based software solutions based on current technologies and frameworks.
• You ensure consistency and integration with the customer's existing IT landscape and IT roadmap in the defense sector.
• You take technical responsibility for one or more teams and advise customer and project teams on the implementation of software solutions throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• You support pre-sales and sales activities related to our Application, AI, and Cloud Services, especially in the defense context, where you strategically apply your industry knowledge to the bidding process.
• You share your knowledge in specialist communities and contribute to our technological advancement.

Your Skillset

• You have a completed degree in IT or a comparable qualification, as well as project experience in the public or security-relevant sector.
• You develop complex cloud and microservice architectures, considering security analysis and compliance requirements (e.g., BSI, VS-NfD).
• You have in-depth knowledge of security-critical architectural principles and defense requirements (e.g., high availability, TOGAF, ITIL).
• You are familiar with defense-specific integration patterns, such as distributed systems, tactical networks, or resilient edge deployments.
• You master DevSecOps practices in security-critical environments, including secure coding, security gates, and zero-trust principles.
• You have experience collaborating with authorities, military, or the defense industry and are familiar with mission-critical systems like C2 or cross-platform sensor solutions.
• You work confidently with on-premise and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, sovereign clouds) and communicate fluently in German and English.
