Senior Software Engineer, Architecture

Most “architect” roles pull you away from the work.

This one doesn’t.

They want someone who still builds - someone who can design it, prove it, and stay close enough to know it actually works in production.

This is a high-volume, real-time environment where bad design shows up fast. You’ll be working on systems that need to perform, scale, and hold up under pressure.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and evolve distributed systems across a growing platform
• Turn requirements into clean, workable architecture
• Build proofs of concept to validate decisions
• Stay close to the code - guide engineers, review, unblock
• Drive patterns around performance, scalability, and reliability
• Lead design discussions and document decisions clearly
• Work across product and engineering to move things forward

What You Bring

• Strong C# / .NET development background
• Moved into architecture but still hands-on
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven design
• Built or supported high-throughput, scalable applications
• Comfortable owning decisions and being accountable for them
• Clear communicator with both engineers and leadership

Nice to Have

• Messaging/event platforms (Kafka, etc.)
• Payments, fintech, or transaction-heavy systems
• Cloud and modern architecture exposure

Compensation

• $160,00 – $200,000 base
• Full benefits
