Software Architect

Marco R. Fuhrer Unternehmensberatung is seeking a Software Architect to join one of their development teams within an Agile Release Train. You will actively shape the architecture of our portal and work closely with the System Architect responsible for the overall architecture.

Responsibilities

• As a Software Architect, you will take technical responsibility for one of our development teams within the Agile Release Train.
• You will actively shape the architecture of our portal and work closely with the System Architect responsible for the overall architecture.
• You will create solution designs, participate in architectural decisions, drive the technical further development of the portal, and ensure that architectural principles, security, and quality requirements are met at the team level.
• Additionally, you will support the technical roadmap, coach developers, promote good engineering practices, and contribute to building a sustainable and modern portal architecture.
• Hands-on engineering is a matter of course for you and part of your role understanding.

Requirements

• You have several years of experience in software architecture or in a Senior Lead Developer role and want to apply your expertise in a modern, agile environment.
• Java, Spring, React, and REST APIs are part of your daily work, as are CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and cloud-native development based on Azure services.
• You work in a structured manner, think analytically, and possess conceptual strength as well as practical implementation skills.
• You enjoy interacting with various stakeholders and actively support the team with your technical know-how.
• Very good German and good English skills are required.
• A suitable university education and certifications (e.g., in architecture or SAFe) are advantageous.
