Overview

Become part of a dedicated team that develops modern solutions for geospatial, infrastructure, and environmental data. You will shape the technical architecture of complex applications and guide their implementation within the development team. You will work with backend and web technologies such as Java, Spring, TypeScript/JavaScript, as well as geospatial technologies like PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GeoServer, or OpenLayers. Your Responsibilities

• Develops technical solution designs and architectural concepts for data-driven applications
• Supports implementation as a technical contact person in the team and assists developers
• Coordinates technical decisions and aligns requirements with product and project management
• Integrates open standards and interfaces to ensure interoperability
• Optimizes build and deployment processes with CI/CD workflows and container technologies
• Creates project documentation, test plans, and contributes to quality assurance
• Supports cross-departmental improvement initiatives and participates in technical workshops

Your Profile

• Has a degree in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, or comparable qualification, or brings equivalent practical experience
• Has experience in system and solution design and a good understanding of complex system landscapes
• Proficient in backend and web technologies such as Java, Spring, as well as TypeScript/JavaScript and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
• Has practical experience with geospatial data stacks such as PostgreSQL/PostGIS, GeoServer, or OpenLayers, or comparable tools
• Works in a structured manner, communicates clearly, and brings team spirit as well as willingness for cross-departmental coordination
• Confidently uses modern development practices such as versioning, CI/CD, and containerization
