Our firm is partnering with a well-established, privately held North American distributor in the shipping, industrial, and packaging materials industry to identify a Software Architecture Manager. This organization has over four decades of sustained growth and operates at significant scale, supporting thousands of employees across multiple locations.
This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding enterprise architecture strategy and enabling modern software delivery across a complex technology landscape. Job Description
The Software Architecture Manager will lead a team of software architects and oversee the design, planning, and delivery of architecture services that support enterprise applications. This role serves as a key partner to application delivery teams and plays a critical role in ensuring systems are scalable, efficient, and aligned with business goals.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 10+ years of application development experience
- 5+ years of experience leading or managing software architects or architecture teams
- Proven ability to design and deliver software architectures for both custom development and packaged solutions
- Experience supporting enterprise-level application environments
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within large, multi-location enterprise environments
- Familiarity with modern architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, and scalable system design
- Proven track record of driving architectural strategy and innovation
Additional Information
- This is a fully onsite position based in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available
