About the Role

You are the Lead Architect for the new tax solution, laying the architectural foundation for new features while continuously keeping customer and IT requirements in mind.

Responsibilities

• You are the Lead Architect for the new tax solution, laying the architectural foundation for new features while continuously keeping customer and IT requirements in mind.
• You actively support product management in developing the business architecture.
• Together with the team, you coordinate technical improvements in the system and ensure their implementation.
• You develop specifications and quality standards for the agile development process with the teams.
• You support the teams in implementing the solution where needed.
• You create high-level concepts for how business requirements are implemented in the overall system.
• You support in the creation of offers.
• You maintain close collaboration with your colleagues in business analysis, development, and with customers.
• You question the status quo and expand the IT architecture.

Qualifications

• You are a team player and a communicative personality with high initiative, who enjoys developing technically and methodically.
• You have sound experience as an architect in the design and operation of a complex microservice architecture.
• Ideally, you have experience in the DevOps area.
• Very good knowledge of the following technologies: Java, Kafka, REST, Angular or other frontend frameworks.
• Very good German and English language skills.
• University or technical college degree in computer science or comparable education, as well as proven professional experience.
• Can-Do Attitude.
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and communicative.
