Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) Architect with HP SimpliVity Experience - Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, build and provide implementation and operational guidance for outcome‑based SDDC solutions that incorporate VMware and third‑party products.
• Work with Quality Engineering to implement SDDC designs, perform stringent scale and stress testing.
• Be recognized as a subject matter expert of at least one discipline of SDDC infrastructure and services (Compute, Network, Storage, Automation, Operations, and Service Definition).

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of experience, including work on multiple SDDC solutions such as Client SimpliVity, Nutanix & VxRail.
• Strong understanding of server and storage platforms and software‑defined networking.
• 5 years practical experience designing and building datacenters for large‑scale infrastructure projects with an emphasis on sustainable production operations.
• 5 years practical experience with distributed systems, multi‑site and/or cloud environments.
• 5 years practical hands‑on experience with VMware vSphere.
• 5+ years practical experience in Client SimpliVity, VxRail & Nutanix.
• Expertise on VMware products such as VCD, VMware NSX & VCE.
• At least two architect‑level certifications on SDDC technology (OEM certifications).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in project work related to M&A and IT infrastructure separation.
• Experience with security products and knowledge of how they complement and work in SDDC.
