Software Developer Embedded Systems (New Product Line) (M/F/D)

With your technical know-how in embedded software, your eye for detail and your passion for product development, you will actively shape our future product portfolio and make a significant contribution to the company's success.

Responsibilities

• Concept, implementation, and further development of software on embedded Linux platforms within a modern tech stack (VS Code, Git, Docker)
• Development of traffic flow management algorithms for mobile robots
• Definition and implementation of interfaces to warehouse management, PLC, and mobile robots via various communication channels (wired & wireless)
• Creation, execution, and evaluation of unit and integration tests
• Participation in agile product development projects with a focus on embedded systems

Qualifications

• Completed education (university, FH) in computer science, software design, mechatronics, automation technology, or similar.
• Min. 2 years of professional experience in software development embedded.
• Very good knowledge of C++20, Python, and Bash.
• Strong analytical understanding of complex mechatronic systems.
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.

• We offer an attractive and market-competitive salary, depending on qualification and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum gross salary for a full-time position is EUR 54,507 per year.
