Senior Software Development Developer

Position Overview

Autodesk Tandem is transforming building operations through digital twins and data-driven intelligence. Our team builds technology that connects and analyzes building data to help operators make better decisions so they can improve resilience, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.

We’re looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Development Developer to join our dynamic team in building a modern SaaS application for digital twins. In our fast-paced, collaborative, product-centric environment, you’ll have the opportunity to develop solutions from the ground up, with a direct impact on the success of a high-growth, mission-driven product.

Responsibilities

• Write code that is testable, readable, and maintainable
• Collaborate with other developers on technical and architectural designs
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high code quality standards, and mentor team members on best practices
• Partner closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver product enhancements to customers incrementally and continually

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or similar field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software development
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, along with a deep understanding of software design principles and patterns
• Experience building and operating production services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, and to articulate complex technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with No SQL databases, such as MongoDB
• Experience with Golang, TypeScript, and React
• Experience building apps on AWS using services such as ECS/Fargate, Lambda, and Cloud Watch
• Understanding of cloud security principles
• Experience building, deploying, and orchestrating containerized workloads

Salary Transparency

For Canada based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $88,000 and $128,700. Salary is determined by professional experience and candidate location. In addition to base salary, our compensation package may include an annual bonus, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
