Qualifications

Education or studies in computer science (HF, FH or university).
Sound programming knowledge in Java and confident handling of SQL databases.
Advantageous: Knowledge of Python, Git, IntelliJ, Jira, Enterprise Architect, JavaScript and VueJS.
Experience with industrial communication protocols such as OPC-UA in mechanical engineering is an advantage.
Confident in handling agile development methods and in the modularization of software solutions.
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical guideline GAMP 5 is desirable.
Strong communication skills in German (min. C1) and English (min. B2).

Responsibilities

Design, optimization, and implementation of complex backend systems as well as development of scalable architectures and high-performance REST APIs.
Analysis and specification of requirements within the scope of requirements engineering as well as implementation into technical designs and new features.
Handling complex technical support cases with the goal of rapid, sustainable error resolution.
Close collaboration with DevOps teams to ensure stable and efficient software delivery.
Conducting code reviews to ensure code quality and promote a high technical standard.
Active participation in the product innovation process by contributing own ideas and technical solution approaches.
Contribution to innovative overall solutions in areas such as IoT, automation, and machine learning.
Consistent implementation of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements for quality assurance and process compliance.
