Development Intern

Role Summary:

This is a paid development internship focused on internal tooling. You'll work directly with a senior developer to help build a system that automates parts of our development workflow. You'll be contributing to a real project, not doing busywork, but you'll have close guidance throughout.

Responsibilities:

• Writing and testing code for internal automation tools.
• Working within our document conversion pipeline.
• Using AI-assisted development tools like Claude Code as part of the daily workflow.
• Debugging, researching solutions, and participating in technical discussions with the team.
• Scope will be adjusted based on your skill level and progress.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or similar).
• Comfortable using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, or similar).
• Basic understanding of concepts like APIs, file handling, or command-line tools is helpful.
• Willingness to learn and ask questions when stuck.
