Software Development Manager

Our client is looking for a determined and self-driven Software Development Manager to join their team.

As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the internal software systems and solutions as well as the Software Development team and its collective strategies.

Requirements

• Ideally a B. Sc. Computer Science or a Diploma in Computer Science / Programming
• Minimum of at least 5 years of relevant experience
• Previous management or leadership skills
• C# and Object Oriented Programming
• Ability to read Visual Basic code
• Ability to efficiently review code and give constructive input
• Knowledge and Experience with TFS and GIT
• MS SQL design and development experience
• Ideally based in Cape Town with full work-from-home functionality when needed
• Advanced C#. NET skills; Entity Framework
• ASP. Net (Bootstrap, j Query, Java Script)
• Report tools (Microsoft, SSRS)
• MVVM, MVC
• WCF or equivalent services
