Role Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Zurich, Switzerland. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, test, and maintain software applications while ensuring high standards of quality and performance. Your responsibilities will include back-end development, implementation of object-oriented programming principles, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless software solutions. This role offers a balance between working on-site at our Zurich office and occasional remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals and principles.
• Proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
• Hands-on experience in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Prior experience working in an educational or research-focused organization is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural and collaborative environment.
• Good communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
