Software Engineer Ada (d/f/m)

About

The department develops and maintains Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems for A400M, Tornado, Eurofighter and future aircrafts. The systems enable mission data preparation, provide the interfaces to the flying platforms, and support the evaluation of the mission or flight.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of the use cases and needs in close cooperation with the various stakeholders of system engineering team
• Definition and realization of software architectures and the ability to evaluate different architectural solutions and choose the best solution
• Ability to understand process workflows and define SW solutions using Ada
• Design and implement of mission data preparation and validation solutions with the support of state-of-the-art technologies such as Eclipse, OSGI and Java
• Preparation and execution of software tests to satisfy the different levels of verification and validation
• Integration of activities in the Software Development Lifecycle
• Develop according to Software Development Plan and accompanied Standards

Requirements

Education

• Computer Science, minimum Master's / Diplom degree or equivalent qualification

Professional Experience IT

• Information Systems: minimum over 5 years
• Solid experience with programming language ADA is mandatory
• Good knowledge in technologies such as Eclipse, OSGI and Java

Language Skills

• English: minimum fluent in negotiation
• German knowledge is nice to have
