The successful applicants will help develop a new software platform looking to make a disruptive impact on metrology within the Industrial Automation sector; as a member of the Research and development team in Renishaw France, you will contribute to the creation, the development, and the release of metrology solution for the automation industry.
Responsibilities
- Developing the geometric and optimisation APIs for IAPD
- Contributing to the development of new metrology solution of the automotive industry
- Collaborating in the generation of the requirements and software design
- Maintain constant communication with the IAPD teams in France and in the UK
- Be involved in hardware and software testing
- Be involved with customer visits and training
Key Requirements
All applicants are required to have the following:
- Demonstrate technical ability with 3D geometry, optimisation techniques, statistics
- Ideally, demonstrate practical experience working with industrial robot.
- Demonstrable practical experience working with object orientated language(s), ideally C#.
- Demonstrable practical experience working with WPF and .NET applications.
- Demonstrable practical experience of working in an agile development environment.
- A good level in French and English – both written and spoken
- Degree equivalent qualification in a relative engineering subject
- A full driving license
- A full valid passport for overseas travel.

The individuals must be eager to learn, adaptable, logically-thinking, well organised, communicate ideas to varying levels of professionalism within the immediate team, division, and wider areas of the business and an aptitude to problem solving.
Location
This role is based at the Renishaw France, Champ sur Marne. Occasional travel to the other Renishaw sites will be required.
Contract
The contract is a CDI with a daily rate based on the metallurgy convention. The salary, from 36k€ to 48k€, will depend on the training and experience of the selected candidate.
