Software Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a Backend Developer experienced in designing and building APIs with secure authentication, versioning strategies, input validation, and performance tuning through scalable, queue-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful APIs with secure authentication (e.g., JWT), versioning, input validation, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems using queue-based architectures for high-performance applications.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage code with Git, and support DevOps processes, including containerization with Docker.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure using AWS services in line with cloud-native architecture best practices.
• Write efficient SQL queries, optimize performance, and manage data modeling and migrations primarily using PostgreSQL.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and design patterns to ensure modular and maintainable code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver complete full-stack solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code with attention to best practices and scalability.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django and/or FastAPI.
• Strong experience in designing and building secure, scalable APIs.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD workflows, Docker, and Git version control.
• In‑depth knowledge of AWS cloud services, including deployment and infrastructure management.
• Advanced skills in SQL and PostgreSQL, including query optimization and data migrations.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Familiarity with JavaScript for full‑stack development is a plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
