About the role
Your role in the team
- Your responsibilities include identifying and independently resolving software-related core issues as well as recurring vulnerabilities in robot and handling systems, as well as communication with the machine and control systems.
- They assist our technicians with fault analysis and troubleshooting - by phone and, if necessary, on-site at our customers' locations.
- Furthermore, you clarify technical questions and issues with the individual departments within the construction.
- You independently perform software modifications on robot and handling systems.
- Additionally, you support the specialist departments in the software-related preparation of retrofits concerning the robot and handling systems.
- You independently handle the software preparation for retrofitting of robot and handling systems, and if necessary, implement them on-site at the customer's location.
- Handling critical customer conversations and complaints until resolution is also part of your responsibilities.
- They clarify technical questions and issues with our suppliers.

Qualifications
- Ideally, you are familiar with operating HERMLE's proprietary automation solutions.
- They convince through customer orientation, team spirit, as well as a high level of performance and willingness to travel.
- Very good knowledge of German as well as good knowledge of English complete your profile.
Experience
- You have experience in PLC programming (Heidenhain, S7, TIA) and/or a high-level programming language.
Education
- You have successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering or automation technology, a further qualification as a state-certified technician specializing in electrical or automation engineering, or a comparable qualification.
