Software Engineer – Backend Cloud Native (H/F/X)

About Us

We are transforming a suite of desktop applications into a SaaS platform. You will be at the heart of this project: designing cloud-native APIs, encapsulating scientific code (Python, C++), and deploying to an infrastructure you will help shape.

We are looking for a Python/C++ developer who has hands-on experience with infrastructure – not to manage others', but to run their own. You know what works in production because you've lived it: you learned the best practices for deployment, security, and architecture by applying them yourself.

Work Policy

This position is not fully remote. Regular presence in our offices is required.

What you'll do

• Design and develop robust and scalable REST APIs
• Encapsulate existing scientific code (Python, C++) to expose it as a service
• Build and maintain the cloud infrastructure that runs your services
• Automate tests, deployments, and the generation of release notes
• Integrate security best practices from the design phase
• Create internal tools to facilitate customer support
• Work in a team: brainstorming, pair-programming, code review, agile methodology
