Software Engineer (Backend Developer)

About Us

We are actively searching for a talented and forward-thinking Backend developer (Software Engineer 3) to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our cloud-based solutions. Your primary responsibility will involve solving complex problems by leveraging your expertise in multiple technologies. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our Dev Ops team to ensure seamless feature deployment in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain cloud-native applications and services using Type Script, Nodejs.
• Strong in Data Structures and algorithms.
• Expertise in cloud technologies, containers, orchestration frameworks like Kubernetes.
• Should have a good storage and networking background and a good understanding of those concepts.
• Should be very versatile with Windows/UNIX OS, its technologies and understanding.
• Good understanding of REST API design and implementation.
• Knowledge of one of databases (MSSQL, Oracle & Postgre SQL).
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to solve complex problems and improve system performance.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and contribute to the improvement of development processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Work closely with the SRE team to ensure smooth feature deployment in production environments.
• Utilize AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools like Copilot and Cursor to enhance productivity in automation, development, documentation, and unit test writing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, performance, and security.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve cloud-based solutions.
• Should have participated in all phases of the product development cycle from Requirement understanding, Design, through Implementation and Test design.
• Should have attained experience and knowledge in solving complex problems.
• Prior experience in developing high scale and performant systems. Should have strong aptitude to learn new technologies.

Education

• Master s/bachelor s degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering)
• Typically requires a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other programming languages, such as NodeJS (Type Script), Golang or Java technologies along with Power Shell.
• Knowledge of database technologies (e.g. Oracle, SQL, Postgre SQL) and data storage solutions.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Kibana, ELK stack).
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and Dev Ops principles.
• Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) would be a plus.
