Software Engineer, Backend Developer, DevOps

Overview

Piper Companies is seeking a Software Engineer to work for a leader in the technology industry. The Software Engineer role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in multiple programming languages, systems development, and Dev Ops practices. The Software Engineer role is a hybrid position requiring to work in the office at least 2 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend and full-stack applications.
• Collaborate across teams to implement secure, scalable, and efficient software solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and automation.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working in a SOC environment
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, C, Go.
• Experience in backend development; front-end and full-stack experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with security protocols like TLS and SSL.
• Hands‑on experience with Dev Ops tools and practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git).

Compensation

• Salary: $100,000 - $115,000
• Full comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, sick leave as required by law
