Software Engineer – Backend Development

About This Role

This leading technology organisation is seeking a talented Software Engineer – Backend Development to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich (possibilities also exist in Utrecht NL.)

Responsibilities

• Developing backend and data platform components including data processing logic and shared platform capability.
• Developing user-focused platform capabilities with features like data enrichment, automation and system reliability.

About You

This position is aimed at Engineers who already have experience building and operating production backend systems.

Requirements

• Several years of experience developing backend or platform-oriented services preferably using NestJS or something similar.
• Developed and maintained data-intensive systems, including data modelling, querying and processing large datasets.
• Some exposure to Python, React, Angular or Apache Spark / Apache Kafka would be beneficial.
