Role Overview

The Azure Integration Services (AIS) Developer is responsible for new and existing development, reporting to the AIS Lead Developer. The role involves delivering various business solutions through consulting with business partners and team members, detailed design, coding, configuration, unit testing, documentation, and production support. Proficiency with the Azure platform and various development languages is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply technology to business processes to develop or enhance solutions
• Consult and collaborate with Application Delivery Leads and Architects on technical solutions
• Advise on options, risks, and impacts on business processes and technical architecture
• Design, develop, and implement efficient, maintainable, and scalable solutions
• Design cost-effective solutions primarily on the Azure platform
• Integrate with multiple hybrid (on-prem) and native cloud solutions
• Design and implement security measures to prevent data breaches and exposure
• Consider scalability and incorporate performance and load testing
• Define, design, and implement AIS development, testing, and security best practices
• Implement deliverables using appropriate solutions
• Manage, lead, and collaborate with onshore and offshore development resources
• Engage in maintenance and support activities as needed
• Maintain system documentation including diagrams and knowledge base
• Analyze and tune application performance, supportability, and manageability
• Liaise between technical and non-technical team members to address business questions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field (preferred)
• 4+ years of development experience with Microsoft development languages
• Expertise in analysis, design, and development of custom solutions using Microsoft technology stack
• Extensive experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud Computing, SQL Server, and .Net technologies
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services (PaaS & IaaS), Storage, Web Apps, Active Directory, Application Insights, and Traffic Manager
