About the role

Role

In this role, as an experienced specialist in software development and operations automation, you will design intelligent software solutions that efficiently and reliably control complex processes. You will be responsible for the conception, implementation, and optimization of automated processes to ensure seamless integration between development, testing, and operations. You will analyze existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement scalable architectures and modern automation techniques. You will make independent technical decisions, prioritize requirements, and coordinate closely with relevant stakeholders on functional and technical goals. Through your expertise, you will establish best practices in software development and operations automation and contribute significantly to increasing the quality, stability, and efficiency of the overall systems.

Responsibilities

  • You will design, develop, and improve tools, libraries, and frameworks for the engineering team.
  • In this role, you will develop and test scalable tools for deployment on various automotive and cloud platforms.
  • As a specialist in software development and operations automation, you will optimize compilation and build times with tools such as Bazel, CMake, and Docker.
  • You will continuously improve frameworks for software deployment and data collection.
  • In this role, you will identify and resolve bottlenecks in our entire software stack.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have more than three years of relevant professional experience in backend and/or platform engineering.
  • You are proficient in at least one of the programming languages Python or C++ in practical application.
  • You routinely work with CI/CD, build, and deployment technologies such as Bazel, Buildkite, Docker, Kubernetes, or Jenkins and use scripting for automation.
  • You are familiar with Linux and/or ARM systems and use this knowledge in your daily engineering work.
  • You have practical experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
