In this role you will advance wireless audio technologies on embedded Linux-based platforms, contributing to HARMAN’s immersive audio initiatives across automotive, lifestyle and professional lines. You’ll develop cross-platform embedded software, optimize performance, and support technology transfer to commercialization. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to shape robust, scalable wireless systems and real-time solutions in a rapidly evolving tech environment. Responsibilities

• Develop software for Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy and UWB on embedded Linux-based systems
• Design chipset-agnostic, OS-independent solutions ensuring cross-platform consistency
• Ensure integration meets performance, security and UX standards
• Apply real-time embedded software and wireless expertise for robust, scalable solutions
• Create software components for downstream productization by external teams
• Evaluate and optimize system and algorithm performance for mass production
• Support technology transfer to commercialization teams and downstream integration
• Produce technical reports, white papers and patent applications

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field and 6 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of embedded platforms: Embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, Microcontrollers
• C/C++ development on embedded platforms
• Experience with Wi‑Fi, BLE and UWB on embedded platforms
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration systems and agile development
• Fluency in multi-threaded and interrupt-driven real-time programming
• Experience with audio development SDKs
• Business fluency in English
