Your Tasks

In addition to maintaining current products, your task includes the development of complex and innovative laser warning sensors, taking into account the latest technologies and standards. The focus is on the development of application software.

• Implement operational software for newly developed sensors in C
• Bugfixing of existing sensor systems
• Analyze technical requirements and develop realization possibilities
• Close coordination with firmware, algorithm, and hardware teams and constructive and agile solution approaches
• Implement solutions up to integration and test execution
• Support with qualifications
• Document the developed software
• Participate in test campaigns (national and international)
• Optimize and further develop technical solutions
• Take responsibility for work packages in the assigned work environment regarding quality, costs, deadlines, and risk assessment

Your Profile

• Completed degree in computer science, mathematics, or comparable
• Several years of experience in hardware-near programming in C/ C++
• Experience in programming with Embedded Linux (buildroot) and in-depth knowledge of operating systems
• Experience with VxWorks is an advantage
• Experience in the use of software versioning (e.g. Git, svn)
• Experience in creating software architecture
• Technical experience in the field of signal processing and sensor electronics is an advantage
• High degree of initiative and commitment
• Independent, goal-oriented approach in a complex environment
• Advanced English and good German language skills, both written and spoken
