Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Design, develop, and maintain Eclipse IDE Plugins (Java) and Visual Studio Code/Theia Extensions in TypeScript and Rust
- Contribute to build infrastructure including GitLab, CI/CD, and client/server apps
- Provide technical support to stakeholders to enable effective tool usage and resolve issues
- Implement tests for the regression testing system in order to maintain a very high level of software quality
- Create test plans, analyze test results and document software errors in Jira/Gitlab

Your skills and expertise will be key to driving our projects forward and ensuring the success of our tool solutions. You are a proactive, detail-oriented team player with a strong analytical mindset, able to solve problems quickly, collaborate across teams, and communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field of studies
- Relevant working experience as a Software Engineer, ideally designing and maintaining developer tools (Eclipse/Visual Studio Code/Theia extensions) using TypeScript, Rust and Java
- Experience in Java, TypeScript, Rust, and object-oriented programming skills
- Good knowledge of software design and architectural patterns - ISO/OSI architecture, microservices, UML, SysML would be a plus, but not mandatory
- Familiarity with version control (git) and code management (Bitbucket/GitLab)
- Experience with Eclipse IDE, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub), as well as embedded software development in C and project management tools (Jira/GitLab/GitHub) would be a plus, but not mandatory
- Fluency in English (mandatory) Please note that, subject to meeting all job requirements, belonging to protected categories under Law 68/99 will be considered a preferential requirement.
