Software Engineer for Security and Time Systems (m/w/d) - J24583

Overview

You will work in a team-oriented environment on the implementation and support of access control and time recording systems. You will benefit from predictable assignments, clear processes, and the opportunity to further develop your technical skills. You will work with operating and server systems such as Windows Server, Windows Client, or Linux, as well as database technologies like MS SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL. The role offers varied tasks on-site and in hybrid project phases, as well as good development prospects.

Your Tasks

• Install and configure software solutions for access and time recording systems
• Create and operate interfaces for secure data import and export
• Accompany go-lives and perform commissioning checks and functional tests
• Train users and create practical user documentation
• Perform regular maintenance work and updates, including test runs
• Analyze malfunctions and implement pragmatic solutions
• Create requirements specifications and clear technical documentation

Your Profile

• Completed IT training or comparable qualification
• Basic knowledge of Windows Server/Client environments and networks
• Initial experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and databases such as MS SQL or Oracle
• Structured, independent, and communicative work style when interacting with users
• Possession of a Class B driver's license and willingness to travel as needed for assignments
• Openness to continuous further training and practical solution development
