In order to support Air Power Engineering, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Software Developer (d/f/m). You will develop flying software for the Eurofighter!

Responsibilities
- Quality oriented development of embedded real-time software.
- Strong contribution to software product strategy and its implementation.
- Early identification, analysis, and detailing of requirements for customer solutions.
- Creation, review, and documentation of software design.
- Development and documentation of unit tests as an integral part of software development.
- Development, maintenance, and documentation of support software and simulation environment.
- Continuous application of static code analysis, code reviews, and documentation of results.
- On-boarding and mentoring of new colleagues as well as collaboration with external partners (research institutes, universities, etc.).
- Interaction with neighbouring departments within and across the development team.
- Interaction with different roles of an Agile Development Process (Product Owner, Scrum Master, etc.).
Requirements
- Completed Studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Extensive experience in a comparable role.
- Profound knowledge in Software Engineering, Software Architecture, Software Embedded Development is required.
- Proficiency in Ada software development is required.
- Solid experience in Jira Product Management, Jenkins CI Automation, and version control (e.g. Git).
- Experiences in Agile Methodologies and Scrum.
- Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and UML is a plus.
- Profound English and German language skills are required.
- Openness to learning and applying new skills, tools, and techniques.
- Ability to work in a team, readiness for interdisciplinary cooperation, good communication skills, and self-dependent working methodology.
