Your Opportunity:

• With us, you are not just a "programmer" but also a Safety Engineer, System Architect, and Problem Solver in one person.
• In the team, you will develop new and expand existing safety functions for drives that must function absolutely reliably under harsh real-time conditions and parallel processes.
• From requirements analysis and concept development, software design, to independent programming in C, and verification and certification of "your" software – you are involved in all phases of the development process.
• You will develop test scenarios for critical situations, simulate errors, and document systematically. You will ensure that your software meets all safety requirements using special test frameworks.
• Through technical documentation, safety analyses, and proofs according to international standards, you will contribute significantly to certification.
• In case of problems with safety functions – during commissioning or in ongoing operation – you will be available to our customers as a "troubleshooter" with advice and support.
• The special appeal: Hardware-related programming, real-time systems, safety engineering.

Your Strengths:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a STEM discipline
• (Initial) practical experience in software development and design – ideally for safety-related software
• Programming experience in C and enjoyment of hardware-related software development
• Experience with control engineering topics and electric machines is a plus, not a must
• Strong communication skills – also in English – and a lot of team spirit? Perfect!
