Role Responsibilities

• Build and ship polished end-to-end product features used by real users
• Work across frontend (React/Next.js) and backend (Node/Python/AI integrations)
• Prototype and integrate with cutting-edge AI models for image/video generation
• Collaborate directly with founders to shape product direction
• Analyze product usage, iterate quickly, and improve user flow & UX
• Write clean, maintainable code, but know when to optimize for speed
• Contribute to engineering culture, tooling, and technical direction
• Partner cross-functionally: represent engineering trade-offs with Product, Design, and Go-To-Market; act as the CTO's delegate when needed

Qualifications

Required

• Strong product instincts
• 1-5 years experience in software engineering
• Experience with frontend technologies (React/Next.js)
• Experience with backend technologies (Node/Python/AI integrations)
• Ability to prototype and integrate with AI models for image/video generation
• Experience in analyzing product usage and improving user flow & UX
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code
• Ability to contribute to engineering culture, tooling, and technical direction
• Ability to partner cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Go-To-Market teams

Preferred

• Bay area based
• Eager to learn new AI technologies
• Experience with GCP, Cloud Run, Modal, Firebase, Redis, Upstash
• Experience with TypeScript
