EverPresent Talent is supporting a high-growth, venture-backed technology company building modern, AI-powered software for the government contracting ecosystem. This platform is designed to streamline complex, mission-critical workflows across capture, proposal, and contract management.
We are seeking a Software Engineer who is product-oriented and excited to own features end-to-end early in their career. This role offers the opportunity to build core product experiences across multiple areas of the platform, contributing to intuitive user interfaces, scalable backend services, and reusable systems that directly impact customers operating in the public sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship full-stack product features across frontend and backend systems
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand workflows, observe product usage, and incorporate feedback into improvements
- Build intuitive user interfaces and APIs that support AI-powered workflows
- Contribute to improving system reliability, performance, and scalability as the platform grows
- Work within a product pod (e.g., Capture, Proposal, Contracts, Platform, Data) while maintaining awareness of the broader product ecosystem
Technologies Used
- Languages & Backend: TypeScript, Node.js
- Frontend: React (modern UI frameworks)

Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience working across the stack, including React-based frontends and backend APIs
- Experience building and shipping production-grade features
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
- U.S. Citizenship required; active or eligible clearance preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment (Series B/C preferred)
- Exposure to government contracting or public-sector software
- Previous founder or side-project experience demonstrating initiative and ownership
