In This Role, You Will:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in backlog grooming and sprint planning.
  • Design, develop, and enhance application features using technologies such as Java, Spring, REST, JavaScript, SQL, React, and Angular.
  • Conduct research to support new features, database updates, and architectural decisions.
  • Stay current with tools and technologies; contribute to platform and process improvements.
  • Participate actively in scrum ceremonies; track progress, flag risks, and suggest improvements.
  • Troubleshoot issues; write and execute tests; support UAT; and maintain technical documentation.
  • Perform peer code reviews to ensure quality, stability, and best practices.
  • Provide production and on-call support in coordination with DevOps and NOC teams.
  • Support release activities, including verification, source control updates, and post-release reviews.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge and communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership.

Here's What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3 months work experience as software engineer or similar position
  • Software Dev Lifecycle, Project Management, Data Modelling, Agile, SCRUM Kanban.
  • Proficiency in core technology stack (Java, Struts, Spring, XML/XSLT/XSD, JSON, REST services, JavaScript, SQL, React, Angular, jQuery).
  • Proficient with Couchbase DB, API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT), ESLint & Prettier, CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins; monitoring using New Relic & DataDog.
  • Git/GitHub for version control; Agile me
