Your Role at impact.com

As a Mid-Level Android Developer you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Android application. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow developers, to create a high‑quality, user‑friendly app that meets our customers’ needs.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with the tech lead, product manager, and designer to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain the Android application to adhere to best practices and deliver an exceptional user experience.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards and guidelines.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with the team.
• Debug and resolve issues and bugs identified by QA and end‑users, providing timely solutions.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies, and actively incorporate them into projects.
• Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and Android versions.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data flow.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3+ years of professional experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Kotlin programming.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, third‑party libraries, and web services integration.
• Familiarity with responsive UI/UX principles.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
