As a part of the Dashboard Infrastructure team, you will own the critical front-end systems and user interfaces, including the core Automon platform and the exciting integration of Grafana into Google's production environment

As an engineer of the P2020 Monitoring Dashboard Infrastructure team, you will be at the forefront of shaping how thousands of Google engineers monitor their production services. Your team will design, develop, test, and maintain the user-facing components of critical dashboarding platforms, including the widely used Automon system and strategic integration of Grafana. Your work will directly influence the performance, reliability, and usability of the tools Googlers rely on daily to understand system health, investigate incidents, and ensure service stability. Responsibilities

  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve production software in Google3.
  • Deliver high-quality product and infrastructure launches on schedule.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineering co-workers across the stack to launch features, author and review engineering design documents, and support the immediate team with code reviews.
